Overview

Eyelash extensions is the fastest growing segment of the beauty industry and the latest "must have" menu item for beauty salons across the country. An expected success of this service is its repeat business model that follows the natural growth cycle of eyelashes. While every spa should have extensions as a service, not just anyone can perform it. Eyelash extensions can be very dangerous if done incorrectly. Every student who takes a Lash L'Amour Learning course will be trained on applying both Classic and Volume eyelash extensions properly without damage to the natural lash.

During this two-day course you will learn effective application techniques, proper adhesive usage, lash styling, utilization of various sizes and lengths in eyelash extensions, lash interchanging, re-fills, removal, consultation and marketing tips. After you've mastered practicing application on a mannequin, you will apply lashes on a live model. We are confident that each certified Lash L'Amour student will be prepared for any situation and will be well-versed in hygiene, sterilization, and application.

Each course includes a generous Lash Training Kit, enough to service up to 100 clients.

Additional information to consider before registering:
1. All students must be a licensed professional or currently enrolled in beauty school.
2. All potential students should contact their state licensing board to inquire about licensing requirements for eyelash extensions.
3. All students must provide a model at the designated time.
4. Knowledge of licensing requirements is the student's responsibility.
5. Trainings are done in classroom style.
6. Subject to certain exceptions, class deposit is non-refundable, however students may transfer it to another date with 5 days advance notice

Classic Extension Training (2-Day Hands-On Class)

This beginner's Classic Extension class is designed for students without experience in applying eyelash extensions. Based on the time-tested Lash L'Amour Technique of applying a single extension to a single natural lash, this course involves many components such as effective consultation, sanitation, proper isolation attachment, control of adhesive, as well as expertly mixing lengths, sizes, curls and positions in order to match and enhance the client's facial features. You will practice applying individual eyelash extensions on a mannequin head, and on live model, under the supervision of a Lash L'Amour Instructor.

Volume Extensions Training (2-Day Hands-on Class)

Our Volume Extensions class teaches the advanced technique of multi-lash, which uses 2 to 6 of the thinnest and finest extensions on 1 natural lash to create sets of 200 to 600 extensions per eye. Because Volume Extensions create a lash fan that wraps around one natural lash at multiple contact points, this allows you to create fuller looking and longer lasting lashes, especially for clients without a lot of natural lashes.

In this two-day Volume Class, you will learn the differences between Volume and Classic extensions, effective volume application techniques, proper adhesive usage, perfect fanning, advanced lash styling, corrective work, up-selling, and marketing tips.
